June 29, 2019
It was the morning of June 29, 2019, the day my brother was getting married to the love of his life. They were saying "I Do" in Immaculate Conceptions Catholic Church. My brothers name was Alex and his soon to be wives name was also Alex. This was a special day because I will be there supporting him as he gets married to the love of his life. They have been together since the 8th grade and they are now 23 years old.
The day was becoming a very nice warm and sunny day. All of us girls were getting our hair curled and nails done in the Lismore hotel room and of course we were eating warm cinnamon rolls. The boys were across the hall getting ready as well. We all had to be careful opening the door because we didn't want them to see each other before the wedding even started. We were all eating breakfast and laughing. It was then time to get our dresses on and see Alex with her beautiful wedding dress on.
As we are all waiting patiently for her to show us in her dress, we were all smiling ear to ear. She opened the door and we saw her in the beautiful white dress she picked. As she walked out we had tears rolling down our face and I could not wait for my brother to see her. She looked absolutely stunning. We then had her dad come in and see his beautiful daughter. He started to cry because he was so happy or her to be marrying the guy she has been dreaming about since she was little.
It was time to pile into the car and race to the wedding. We all got there in the room and waited patiently for all the family and friends to arrive and find their seat. Once they found their seat in was time for the wedding to start. We all walked down the isle with the groomsman and then they shut the doors. They played the song that they picked and the doors swung open. My brother teared up as he saw the love of his life in the stunning white dress she picked. We then stood by their side as they said "I Do".
After mass was over, we all got onto the party bus. We hooked up our phones and played a bunch of pump up music. We drove to a place and took some pictures, and then rode around on the bus for another hour.
We finally arrived at the reception. We made an entrance with the groomsman and then sat at the head table. We ate dinner and then listened to the parents give their speech. We all laughed and cried a little. After that we all ate dessert and got out on the dance floor. We danced the night away. A day I will always remember.
