Ever since I was a child, my dad went on business trips to Rome on a regular basis. Some of my fondest memories were with my dad when he showed me photographs and souvenirs from the things he got to see. After a tornado of emotions of excitement, jealousy, and sadness for being too young to go, I made it a goal of mine to make it to Rome at some point in my life. Last August, I budgeted my money and finally made the dream come true and booked a flight to Rome in mid-January 2020. By using my dad's years of travel experience and knowledge from frequent trips to Italy, I wrote this blog to better prepare you adventurers out there who might want to travel somewhere new! For those who are also interested in traveling to Rome, this blog will show the best places to see, as well as safety and essential travel tips.

When you are traveling, there are many things to consider. You'd never want to get an item stolen, personal information lost, or a lack of money as a few examples. During my dad's first trip, he quickly learned how crafty the pickpocketing can get and how easy it is to lose belongings before you even leave the airport. He was quickly pickpocketed and lost a small number of euros shortly after arrival. Luckily, he had a money belt to keep his important documents and belongings safe. With that in mind, it's best to take every precaution and be safe. Here is a list of key travel takeaway tips to keep in mind:1. Always keep your belongings safe from pickpocketers
2. Make sure your passport is valid
3. Make sure you have enough Euros or a credit card
4. Have a cell phone plan with international roaming

DeleteRome is such a beautiful place. Thank you for sharing some of the great places to travel to while in Rome. I have always wanted to travel and this looks like a great place to travel. Your videos really helped me understand what Rome really has to offer. The emotion you showed really shows us as audience how excited you are to go and visit Rome.
